Motorcyclist dies in fatal crash in Gloversville

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A motorcycle-SUV crash on Thursday afternoon has claimed the life of one individual. Police say the accident occurred in the area of North Main Street and Wooster Street. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Police located Antoine D. Clark Sr., 44, unconscious at the scene and began rendering aid. Clark was transported to the Nathan Littauer Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.The driver of the SUV was uninjured and is cooperating with law enforcement. Investigations determined that the SUV was traveling north on North Main Street and attempted to turn left onto Wooster Street. Clark was driving behind the SUV and attempted to pass the vehicle, but hit the rear driver's side.Investigations are ongoing. CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) - On Friday, Washington County announced an upcoming road closure in the town of Cambridge, A section of Stump Church Road will be closed starting on Monday, April 17. The stretch of Road is located between County Route 60 and Vly Summit Road in the town of Cambridge. The closure will be put in place so that road workers can replace a culvert and perform other associated tasks.Detours will be indicated via signage once the closure is put in place next week. A Loomis "money truck" was robbed at gunpoint.Two suspects were armed and robbed the truck. One suspect dropped his gun at the scene and left it. Police are processing it as evidence now. A San Fernando Valley business owner is out thousands of dollars worth of merchandise after burglars broke into one of her stores Wednesday night, the latest in a string of crimes she claims is forcing the closure of her company.Evette Ingram of Evette's Beauty Supply said bandits stood outside her Tarzana store as if waiting for a bus, then broke in through a window before making off with about $25,000 worth of merchandise.This store, the Tarzana location, has been broken into six times, but Ingram said her other four locations have also been burgled.Ingram said she's closing down all of her stores, a decision that was "very, very hard.""This is my passion.
