The Anti-Defamation League is on high alert over a surge in violent threats against Jewish people. They say it has ticked up since the attack on Israel by Hamas. Just one station traveled to New York City to show you how the organization is working to protect Boston and the rest of the country.“You can really kind of feel the tension,” said Harvard University Freshman Charlie Covit. As the war in Israel rages, fear is building here at home.“We have tracked 400 or so rallies around the country and especially after the first few days after the massacre, it was celebration, glorification and legitimizing Hamas brutality,” said Oren Segal, Vice President of the ADL of the Center on Extremism. The Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism, located in Manhattan, is working around the clock to track and intercept threats. They say college campuses have been hotspots since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.“Student groups and individuals have really, to a shocking degree, adulated, praised what Hama...Kurt Warner called the Ravens offense ‘kind of clunky.’ Todd Monken doesn’t totally disagree.

Despite the Ravens scoring 38 points and racking up more than 500 yards of offense in their 38-6 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and NFL analyst Kurt Warner saw a lot of room for improvement.“Although they threw for a bunch of yards, it’s still not smooth and connected,” Warner said on his YouTube show. “It’s kind of clunky right now.”Offensive coordinator Todd Monken didn’t necessarily disagree.“There were certain things we did that were really outstanding that you look at and say, ‘Wow, we can build on it.’ And there’s other things that can get glossed over because you won, and you look at it and go, ‘That has to be a lot better, or we can’t be who want,’” Monken said Thursday. “There were some elite things that we did, and there were some things for sure we have to clean up and not just counting on that [No.] 8 is going to run around and make...Cruise to pause all driverless operations as a way to 'rebuild public trust'

PHILADELPHIA — Asked about the Wild’s opponent on Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena, head coach Dean Evason gave a quick scouting report followed by a concise warning. The Philadelphia Flyers, he said, were a lot like the Wild.“They play an energetic, upbeat, pressure, physical game,” Evason said Thursday morning. “So, if we’re not ready, as we haven’t been. …”It was a prescient observation. The Wild came out with loose sticks and lead in their skates and chased the Flyers around the ice for most of two periods before briefly coming to life in a 6-2 loss, breathing more life into a trend that has haunted Minnesota (3-3-1) since opening night, when Brock Faber stanched the bleeding of a cold start in a 2-0 victory over Florida.Minnesota rallied from three one-goal deficits to beat struggling Edmonton, 7-4, on Tuesday but goes into the second of back to backs Friday in Washington with losses in three of its past four games (1-2-1).“We can’t continually get behind and expect to come back con...State girls soccer: Maple Grove takes down White Bear Lake to advance to semifinals

ST. LOUIS – When you buy in the virtual world, traveling to the real world is no easy task. It's about 7:05 p.m. on a weeknight. A FedEx truck is backing up into a house on Jamieson Avenue in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood, but Adelon Jernigan said it's not for a delivery."We're here throughout the month and so far throughout the year, until they find employees. It's better to just get a house," Jernigan said.Jernigan is a contractor from Mississippi. He delivers packages on behalf of FedEx. He said up to five people will stay in the St. Louis Hills house."We got other houses all over St. Louis," Jernigan said. The contractor said there are not enough FedEx drivers in the St. Louis area, so people come from across the country to help out the area."People order stuff every day," Jernigan said. There was a notary who said Brown was present for the signing of the documents, but there is a problem: a state database of notaries confirms there is no one by that name and number licensed in Missouri. The Recorder of Deeds Office didn’t catch it.“What makes me angriest is that I feel that the Recorder of Deeds could have done something, you know?” Brown said. “Property is the most valuable possession that people have, and for them to so easily transfer it from my name to someone else’s name without any identification, without any notification?” Sex offe...Latest news
