DENVER (KDVR) -- Deputies chased a vehicle potentially involved in a kidnapping in Weld County which led to a deputy firing their weapon early Friday morning.On Thursday night, Fort Collins Police Services received information on a vehicle involved with a possible kidnapping in Weld County. (WSVN) — Cape Coral police officers demonstrated incredible strength and determination as they saved a man trapped under his own car.On Monday evening, Carlos Romero was assisting his father-in-law, Francisco, with a car repair project in their Cape Coral driveway. As they worked on replacing the transmission cable, the only thing supporting the car were ramps, which unexpectedly failed, causing the car to collapse onto Francisco.Desperate to free his father-in-law, Romero tried everything he could think of, including using another jack to lift the car slightly. “Then I grabbed another jack from that car and that one was better. LONDON — Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf’s parents-in-law were given permission to use the Rafah crossing out of Gaza today after weeks trapped in the war zone. The Scottish National Party leader’s in laws Elizabeth and Maged El-Nakla were in Gaza when Hamas launched its surprise attacks on Israel on October 7, stranding them in the region. A third man wanted in connection with a shooting in Holyoke last month that left a pregnant woman hospitalized and her infant dead has been arrested, officials said Friday.Kermith Alvarez, 28, of Holyoke, turned himself over to police on a murder charge in connection with the Oct. 4 shooting on Sargent Street, according to a statement issued by the Hampden District Attorney’s Office.Johnluis Sanchez, 30, of Holyoke, has been ordered held without the right to bail on a murder charge for his suspected involvement in the shooting. SAN DIEGO -- Artificial intelligence (AI) is being used in another groundbreaking invention -- this time to help people with autism learn to drive.The program will help students before going behind the wheel.
