OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - An expert hired to get rid of a snake slithering around a South Oklahoma City mobile home park found a python that was 13 feet long and had been in the neighborhood for around five months."We're talking, that thing has been eating opossums, foot-long rats, and cats," said Trevor Bounds of Red Beard Wildlife Control. "The mouth on that thing is the size of your foot and when it opens up you're going to be able to fit something pretty large in there." BEDFORD, Ind. — Court records reveal that several witnesses expressed concern about the swelling and bruising they witnessed on Cheyenne Hill's 18-month-old daughter's face and head last November. One witness even told investigators that after he pointed out how the child might need medical care, Hill snapped back at him by saying, "Under no circumstances are you to call an ambulance or take her in (to the hospital) yourself. How many Hmong people live in Minnesota?The answer is 95,094, with more than half of the state’s Hmong residents residing in Ramsey County, home to the largest concentration of Hmong in the nation, according to a new analysis.With more than 36,000 Hmong residents, St. Paul remains home to the largest population of Hmong in any U.S. city, with Fresno, Calif., running a distant second. That’s according to the analysis of U.S. Decennial Census by the Hmong Cultural Center, which is based on University Avenue in St. Paul.That said, there’s been some movement in terms of where Hmong residents reside within the Twin Cities. St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood no longer has any census tracts with more than 1,000 Hmong residents, as it has had for the past several decades. ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) - Arena football is officially coming back to Albany in the spring of 2024, with a familiar team name in a familiar league. Co-owner Mike Kwarta announced they’re bringing back the Albany Firebirds to play in the newly reformed Arena Football League.Former Albany Empire offensive coordinator and interim head coach, Damon Ware will be the head coach and general manager of the franchise. Jeff Levack will serve as team president.Ware announced the team’s first signing is former Empire wide receiver, and 2021 National Arena League MVP, Darius Prince. Albany’s last arena football team, the Albany Empire, was terminated from the National Arena League, citing the Empire’s failure to pay overdue league-mandated assessments. The termination came months after former NFL pro-bowler Antonio Brown became part of the previous ownership group. Burrell is an inspiring figure in Colorado music history. Kaiser Permanente Colorado and the union representing almost half of its employees didn’t reach a deal over the weekend, but have agreed to continue talking ahead of a possible strike beginning Wednesday.The contract between a coalition of unions and Kaiser Permanente divisions around the country expired Saturday. Earlier in September, the unions announced they could go on strike from Oct. 4 to 6 if they don’t reach a new contract.In Colorado, that would mean about 3,000 technicians, office workers and licensed practical nurses affiliated with Service Employees International Union Local 105 could walk off the job for three days this week. About 6,800 people work at Kaiser Permanente Colorado, which has roughly 500,000 members and runs 33 medical offices in the state.Nationwide, about 75,000 workers could go on strike, with walkouts also planned in California, the District of Columbia, Oregon, Virginia and Washington.
