Pedestrian-Auto Collision near Clayton Road Left 38-Year-Old Pleasant Hill Woman DeadCONCORD, CA (June 23, 2023) – A pedestrian crash on Highway 242 near Concord claimed the life of Aniesha Dotson.Contra Costa CHP Officers responded to the incident around 11:30 p.m. along southbound 242, south of Clayton Road.According to the police, a southbound Lexus IS-250 hit a woman that happened to be in the traffic lanes of the freeway.Unfortunately, the female pedestrian sustained major injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, a passenger inside the Lexus received minor injuries.Later, the Contra Costa County coroner’s office identified the deceased woman as 38-year-old Aniesha Dotson of Pleasant Hill. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- An arrest has been made in a fatal shooting near the Powell Street BART Station on Thursday night, according to the San Francisco Police Department.This is a breaking news update. Original story follows below. A person was fatally shot near the Powell Street BART station Tuesday night, the San Francisco Police Department confirmed. SFPD responded to the area of Powell Street and Market Street at about 8:39 p.m. They arrived to find a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim died at a local hospital.
