BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Britain’s Josh Kerr pulled off the biggest upset at track and field’s world championships Wednesday, outrunning heavily favored Jakob Ingebrigtsen of Norway to the line for a win in the 1,500 meters.Kerr finished in 3 minutes, 29.28 seconds to join Jake Wightman as the second British runner in two years to upset Ingebrigtsen at worlds.A few minutes later, another Norwegian avoided the same fate. UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. — It’s payday in south suburban University Park. But when village employees checked their bank accounts Wednesday they found they had been stiffed. Several told WGN Investigates that their calls to village hall, the village manager and mayor have gone unanswered.Roughly 80 employees, including police and firefighters along with public works and other village staffers, may have been impacted. The two teens realized they did not have a fly for their tent and wanted to return to the trailhead but were having difficulty. She’s also the person behind keeping a special Travers tradition alive each year. LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) - This week, Warren County gathered together data from the 2020 United States census, to see what could be gleaned about the southern Adirondack region. The result: The county is getting older. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Census data shared by the county shows a median age of 47.5 among county residents, ranking the county in as the fourth-oldest in the state by median age. It's actually a tie - Essex County came out with the exact same number. Hamilton, Columbia, and Delaware counties are all ranked higher. For Warren County, that median age breaks down into a population consisting of 59% residents between the ages of 18 and 64, down from 62% in 2010. Similarly, the number of residents under 18 is 18%, down from 21%.
