POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A shooting in Poughkeepsie on Friday sent one person to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. On Friday, around 7:40 p.m., police received a report of a shooting in the area of 27 Garden Street. Once units arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to an area hospital via Mobile Life for treatment. A Virginia man was hospitalized after becoming trapped under a massive gun safe, the Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department said.Firefighters said the man had been trying to unload the safe on March 9 when he fell and got pinned under it. Firefighters estimated the safe weighed 2,000 pounds. During the rescue, crews used airbags to stabilize the safe and free the man. He was then immediately airlifted to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. VALLEJO, Calif. (KRON) -- Four suspected burglars were arrested after crashing into a fence while fleeing from police on Saturday, according to the Vallejo Police Department.
